What is Cousins in the Classroom?

Cousins in the Classroom is a songwriting workshop (virtual only, at this time) developed by LA based indie/folk band, Distant Cousins. The mission of the workshop is for each group to write their own song and be involved in the creation of it from start to finish - all the way through the recording process. Participants will learn from the band's experience in writing and producing music for film & television, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers and colleagues while tapping into their own creativity. The band has worked with a wide array of groups from around the world, with schools, camps, corporations and organizations. Anyone can do this!
